The rim prevents the contents from spilling over and is hand decorated with a leaf motif. The bowl itself is glazed in lavender (light purple) with pale blue starbursts and yellow dots.
The starburst pottery bowl measures approximately 7.5" x 7.5" x 3.25" tall.
Each of my pottery pieces is a work of art and I recommend hand washing and preheating in the oven. However, many people wash in top rack of dishwasher with good results. Use caution when microwaving. Ceramic surfaces sometimes become hot to the touch.
